I am a 26 year old female. My last period was on feb 28, 2008. My husband and I have been trying to conceive, all my hormone levels are good. On the 19th day of my cycle (march 18) I stared spotting, I did this for 3 days. I went to the doctor and they did an exam and sent me for blood work to see if I was pregnant. The test came back negative. Then on my 23rd day (March 22) I had to go have blood work to have my progesterone checked. The results of that my doctor said it was low. He gave me a rx for progesterone pills which I am supposed to start taking at the peak of my next cycle, but the problem is that I today April 11,2008 makes 43 days since I have had a period. I took a home pregnancy test on march 27th and it was negative. I have been using a clear blue easy fertility monitor and last month it never showed peak fertility just high fertility for about 15 days. I keep calling the doctor but they can not tell me what is wrong or what is causing this. My periods are usually 24-28 days long. I have had 3 laparoscopies 12-07, 7-06, 6-04
On the last surgery in December they did a dye test to check my tubes for blockages and there was none. I did have severe adhesions each time that had to be removed, they are not sure what is causing this. And in December my doctor also said that I had an infection in my tubes.

May I suggest you have your husband's sperm count tested in the meantime to see if he is able to be a daddy? You must get your system clear of the infection before you can properly conceive. Just give it some time and don't be too wound up about this. Relax. You'll get pregnant.
