Something is missing here... or I am not understanding your writing. Are there 2 cans? One that holds 3/8 of a gallon and the other that holds 31 1/2 gallons?

Another fraction division problem
Refer to your other post.
elbathsheba, I'd hate to call you out, but your past few posts have been straight homework questions. I don't mind helping people out, but this forum isn't for posting your homework and waiting for the answers.

I understand that I have no obligation to answer them, however, the forum rules are as follows:

I'm not so sure what "making them up" has anything to do with it. If you're making up the questions, you can certainly make up the answer. What I'm saying is, simply asking a question and expecting an answer isn't going to work as well. Instead, try to work out the problem here, and if we see a mistake in your method of solving the problem, we'd be more than glad to help you.
As far as you being in school, I'm assuming you're trying to argue that this is not school work and thus the rule does not apply to you. If you want to go in that direction, the rule states, "...study material." You have stated that they are practice problems. Thus, that is a study material.
And stay in school, because using spelling like that isn't going to help you in the future.

Oh boy. I'm not trying to start an argument with you, OK? Rules state that study materials are included. I'm not judging you, just stating the rules. You can do as you like. Post whatever questions as you wish, I just won't respond to them. Best wishes.

Sweetie, the above statement isn't true either. You cannot spell anyway you like. The rules state that chat speak or text talk is not allowed either. Use complete words, some of us are to old to try and decipher what you are saying. There is a spell check, it's not there because it's pretty, okay? Please spell properly. Thank you.
