Hi everyone.

I am a 22 year old female. My last period began on March 26th according to my records and lasted for about a week. 2 days ago (April 6) I had sex with my boyfriend. Yesterday, April 7, I noticed a brown discharge that has continued to today, April 8. I am not on birth control. The condom broke but he pulled out immediately and had not ejaculated yet. He simply put on a new condom after that.

I am not experiencing any other symptoms other than the discharge. I am quite worried as I do not know what it could be. I have had the brown discharge before under the same circumstances as well. I have done some reading up on this topic before posting this, but got no definite answer. I read that the discharge could be from trauma to the cervix, but I do not know how applicable this is to my case.

Is there a time frame for which, if the brown discharge continues, it would indicate something (more) serious?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

Anything to do with that region of your body I'd get checked just in case, think it can be caused by deep penitration I sometimes just get cramps the next day, but best to speak to your GP, don't be embarrassed as you get older you'll realise they see far worse than you've got ! Good luck
