I have old laptop - want to start using it for internet - I need to uninstall
Windows 98 and upgrade to window 98se - I have a full disk for 98se - but first I need to uninstall reg. 98 how do I do this.

You need to create a boot disk (I'm assuming a laptop with Win 98 on it has a floppy) and boot to that disk, then reformat the drive. Then run SETUP on the Win 98SE CD.

By the way, I have to ask why you posted this under Forum Help. That meant you had to scroll past all the other forums (including the computers area) and ignore the Read Me First warning for the Forum Help area.
