So, prom tickets at our school go on sale in like a week, and I didn't have a date yet so I decided to ask my ex-girlfriend, who I went with winter formal a few months ago as friends, and prom and winter formal as dates last year. I started a conv. And already know she wasn't going to prom, but not why. I asked her why she wasn't and she said she already had a dress but she didn't have anyone to go with. So I asked her to go with me, instead of a normal yes/no I get "i donno, i gotta think about it." I donno what that means.. I think that's a nice rejection but not quite sure, and I'd like to know if it's a actual don't know or a no. if it's a no I'd like to ask someone else but if it's a thinking about it I can wait a day or 2...
Me personally I think it's a if someone I want to ask me out does I'm going with them, else you're a back-up. Personally if I don't get a response in like 2 days I'm going to ask someone else out, but she's a good friend and I'd like NOT to get her pissed at me. If this were a guy it would mean I donno, damn girls and there confusing ways of stating everything, what's wrong with a nice yes/no?
What do you guys think?
p.s. sorry if that was harsh towards girls, I like girls don't get me wrong but sometimes they can be very confusing because your looking for the little mind games they play...
