My 1995 Honda accord won't start. Someone tried to break into the car and cut most of the wires, but the security system wouldn't let the car start. I recently replaced the wire harness, I hooked up most of the wires and connectors, but upon trying to start it, nothing happens. The fuel injector pump turns on, the solenoid clicks on and the lights work, but the engine doesn't crank. What am I forgetting? Do I have to have everything completely wired before I attempt to start it?

I bypassed the starter and shorted the solenoid, the car started without anything wrong. First time in 4 years its been started. What could be so wrong that it won't crank with the key?
