There was this woman I met at Dennys about two weeks ago she was the waitress there. She was giving me eye contact the whole night. Plus it seemed like I was getting individual service from her the whole night despite me being at the table with my family.so she asked me if there was anything else she could do for me. I said yea it would be nice if I could have your number so I can call you sometime.she replied I'm to old for you.I told her I was 20.she couldn't believe it she said I looked 16.then she said yea ill give you my number then her name. I called two days later and the number was disconnected.I did the stupid thing and called denneys one day to ask for her .I told her how I thought she was sexy and that I really was 20 if she thought I wasn't and told her I had called her number but it was disconnected she said yea it is disconnected and to give her my number. I did, but still haven't heard from her. So should I say forget it and move on or should I call her at dennys again because there is a lot of question.she was checking me out the whole time and I was like getting my own individual service from her.could she not be interested then why would she give me her number?

She gave you a disconnected phone number, that's your first clue. She obviously wanted to be nice, but ended up being mean instead. She asked for your number because she doesn't know how to tell you she isn't interested. She's sending mixed messages, but really it isn't that difficult to understand what she's doing if you step back and look at the entire picture.

Just forget about her, if she calls (which I don't think she will) then great, but stop trying to contact her, she's not interested.

Don't waste any time worrying about it. And don't sit by the phone either. If she calls fine, if she doesn't that's fine to. You had the nuts to ask, and that's enough, now get on with other things, and do not call her at work.
