Citibank file a garnishment on my checking account the bank file an response to the court claiming the account has insufficient funds is up to the court to lift the restrain on the account

My guess is the levy/garnishment will stay in place until it is released or dismissed by Citibank, who will just sit and wait on a deposit. You may want to open an account at another bank because this one is in the 'crosshair'.
