Fred,

If it is turning over then your starter is not the issue unless it is turning over so slowly that it won't catch.

That being said you need a starting point. You need 3 things for an engine to start: Fuel, Air, and Fire. Check and make sure you are getting fuel, make sure your intake system isn't plugged and make sure your getting spark. If you have those 3 things and it still won't start then it gets into more serious analysis. 85% of the time, one of those 3 things are missing.

If you are not getting fuel then obviously you will look into your fuel system. Is the fuel pump working? Is there a clogged fuel line or filter? Are your fuel injectors working properly?

Air is pretty simple, pull your air filter and see if it will start then.

If it is not firing then you need to look at your ignition system. Am I getting no spark or a very weak spark? If so then why? Are any components bad (i.e. wires, cap, plugs, rotor, coil, internal components)?

If you have checked all of those things and they are fine and it still won't start post back.
