My 15 yar old Shihtzu stopped eating. She has bad teeth. Took her to the vet . She did a CBC and urine and they came back normal. The vet put her on CBC
60mgs for ten days. This is day 3 and she is sleeping a lot and still has no appetite. Under protest I can get her to eat soft people food,

I'm not sure what cbc is... I'm thinking a med if she has been on it for 3 days... I would think that it should have started working by now. Maybe her teeth are causing her such pain that she feel like it is not worth the pain to eat. Has you vet suggested pulling them. My sister has a daschund that is quite old a lot of his teeth have been removed and she just softens his dog food with water. He eats it with no prodding. But before she had them removed he lost a lot of weight. I think she had 11 removed. If I were you I would give the vet a call tomorrow if I did not see improvement.
