Hi All
I have Pinnacle Studio 10+ could someone please help with my problem Its about editing if I have a clip which has a fault right in the middle how do I trim, cut or edit this out? I know there must be a simple answer to this but my 68 year old brain is having problems with this task.
Please help as I think the men in white coats are about to take me away.
Kind regards
Dave Jordan

Okay get ready for this.
1) I hope you have enough ram on your computer
2) Open Pinnacle. Hit Pinnacle Studio Plus

7467

3) In the movie making software you have three tabs Capture, Edit & Make Movie

7468

4) I assume the clip is on your PC. Select the "EDIT" window. On the left upper side you will see an option of "add media" shaped like a folder (just above where I have typed "KEYFRAMES")and select the desired clip.
5) The media is imported and you will see a bunch of key frames which are generated below the media import window. Essentially the clip is chopped up in small bits and arranged sequentially.
6) Select a frame and hit play in the viewing pane on the right side of your screen. If you do not wishto edit it just drag the key frame right down to the storyboard.
7) Do that sequentially for each frame until you reach the scene which needs to be trimmed. Do not drag that down in the story board.
8) There are several other gimmicks you can do using the buttons running vertically to the keyframes.
9) So now you have deconstructed the original clip and then sequentially put it back in the story board after editing.
10) Now hit the "MAKE MOVIE" tab and then decide the format in which to save the clip and your edited clip will be exported.
