Dear All,
I have a problem with my computer. When ever I try to start the comuter the CPU make some sound and this will keep on going and the computer will not stat up. Why? I changed the boot preference to Hard disc thinking that my floppy drive is damaged. How can I solve it

Please tell us what kind of a sound you are hearing...
Is it a long beep?
I don't either of your hardisk or floppy drive is damaged..

The sound is short and sounds "kre, kre'. If this happens I will switch off the computer using the CPU main button. If I follow this way(switch off), then after 2 or 3 times the computer will start up.
