GMP100-3 gas furnace: The furnace runs for 3-5 minutes then shuts itself off for 2-3 minutes then repeats the start- stop cycle. I turned the thermostat up but it still acts the same. Any tips would be appreciate

Check the furnace filter to make sure it is clean.
Could be going out on high limit. Control out of calibration.
Make sure all registers are open.
Does the blower work?

Yes the blower works and I did clean the filter and it seems to be running all OK. I . Will know better by morning. The filter was very dirty and I ran it with the doors off afterI reinstalled the filter, and ran for 20 minutes without a problem. Thanks for your reply
