I have an older model craftman chainsaw. The make and model are: Craftman 8 inch chain saw, model number 315.34440. Need to know what kind of oil goes in it and where.

8 inch, is that a typo? If it is an eighteen inch, then I would think it would use forty to one mix ratio.
