MY husband and I have several (over 12) credit cards that have fallen anywhere between 4 and 6 months past due. There is no balance over $1100.00. How long does it take for a credit card company to sue you??

There is no magic number for this situation.
Some don't sue, some are very aggressive.
Have you tried to sit down, and develop a plan to take care of this problem or are you just
Waiting to be sued?
I'm pretty sure that no one here will be able to give you an answer for this question.

No I am not just sitting around waiting to be sued. We have enrolled in a debt reduction program, however I was concerned I would be sued during this process. Why do you feel no one on here would be able to answer my question? I posted with the hopes someone could give me positive insight so I can be prepared.

No one can give you a definite answer because there is no magic number concerning collection. I really don't know how some of the credit card companies operate. Some people post about accounts that are 4 months overdue, others are getting sued 6 and 7 years later. I don't know.
If you enrolled in a reputable debt reduction program they should start working on notifying your creditors almost immediately to stop any lawsuits that might be in the works.
