Hi
I arrived in the US on October 17 on a L1 Visa (not married, no kids). Is my assumption correct that I have to file my taxes as a non resident alient for 2007 (1040NR)?
Thanks

Yes, you will file 2007 tax return as nonresident. You will only get exemption of $3,400 and itemized deduction. The most common itemized deduction is state income tax withheld.

You can also claim moving expenses. For this you will file Form 3903.

Thanks, would I file 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ?
