I have a horizontal line in the center of my TV.
Before, a little punch on the TV and all working OK.
But now nothing to do, that horizontal line is always there.
I know it's a vertical problem area.
What to check please?
Panasonic
Model : PC-29XF10A
Chassis : YAPEDP218
Thanks!

You may get some better advice from the others, but my first thought is that you've either got a short in the vertical deflection circuitry or the vertical output transistors have died. The short may be caused by an accumulation of dust, and punching the set would temporarily knock the dust loose. You might thoroughly blow out the inside with compressed air (will be a messy job, and don't do it when the wife is home) You might also have a bad connection, which a punch could temporarily fix.
CAUTION: The inside of a TV is a very dangerous place. There are lethal voltages present!
Be extremely careful, and good luck,

Hi!
Found the problem.
Re-soldered IC451 (vertical IC) and working fine.
Thanks!
