Why do we pride ourselves when doing something for earth. Are we trying to heal the wounds on mother natue that we have inflicted upon her for a long time due to deforestation, pollution, ozone layer depleation,etc.
What we should understand is that the only rule unchanged and the topmost in the game of mothernature is CHANGE. Its happening every second. We are not abusing mother nature. The worst that can happen is the complete wipeout of our species and other present species. But will be replaced by organisms that can survive and reproduce in the environment that we vanished or maybe the earth stays barren with no oranisms like so many other planets.
My point is in both these situations we are at the losing end

Alike your other topic (universe constant fluctuation) this is an interesting view on nature.
However this topic is not an item for the Astronomy board, but much more for an Evolution board.
With the AskMeHelpDesk website failing such board (as far as I can see) this topic should be posted on the "Other Science" board, or on the "Ecology & Environment" board.
