I recently purchased a 93 ford ranger the clutch for the air conditionaer won't engage. The low pressure switch checks out good the fuses are good and the relay seems to be working but I am not getting any voltage to the compressor and ideas.

Check the freon (r-132) and if it is low then recharge. A low level will not let the a/c clutch engage.

If you put power to the comp. will it work? If so then you have a bad wire. If not check the high side switch
