Hi,

I have a VW golf 0ne Chicco 2000 is a fuel injector engine. I have been using lead replacement fuel for a while and wonder if that might have an effect having problem when cold start.

When the engine is cold it does not idle at all till it is warm. When I some time I approach the stop sign or robot and just apply brakes ad clutch it stalls. I have put it valve ease and injector cleaner in the petrol tank. And has been better. Is there anything that I still need to fix or change.

Kind Regards

That model doesn't have a cold start injector, so I'd have to guess that the upper engine could use a complete decarbon treatment, and clean the injectors.

Ove time, carbon "flakes" build up on the intake runner and the intake valves. That carbon acts like little sponges and traps raw fuel as it tries to enter the engine. Only once those "sponges" are saturated will an adequate supply of fuel actually enter the engine and be burned.
The injector nozzles become slowly built up with varnish and cannot atomize the fuel as it is being sprayed into the engine.
Cleaning both the upper engine/intake runners (the valves should get cleaned during this procedure) and the fuel injectors will allow your engine to "breath" better.
