View Full Version : A very important and personal Latin translation

I recently found a collection of old family books and photographs, on every single one there was a sentence in Latin.

The sentence was: Adsum compos mentis sub dio. Cetero desunt

I guess that is two sentences, but I really want to have the meaning so I can decide whether I want to duplicate it one some important family art I have. Also, I would like to know the general meaning of it all put together so that maybe I can duplicate it more "correctly".

Thanks in advance. Carpe diem!

Adsum compos mentis sub dio - I am here of sound mind and judgement under the open sky

Cetera desunt - The rest is missing
