Which one are you thinking of using?

Why don't you try it out and we'll help you along the way.

I tried both elimination and substitution I got -x+27=10 for both solutions what did I do wrong?

Be careful. Not all systems have solutions.

If we multiply the top one by 3 and the bottom one by 2, we get:

6x-12y=9

-6x+12y=14

Now add them and we get 0=23
