How much work is done by a girl weighing 500 N in climbing 5.00 m up a rope in the school gym ?

A 60 kg boy lifts himself on a chinning bar a distance of 0.30 m
What does he weigh ?
What force does he excert to lift himself ?
How much work does he do ?

Hello, once again.

You are asking 5 different questions here. We will call them questions 1 through 5 as they are written.

I will provide you with the steps here. You do the math.
In each case, you have already been given the proper formula. (refer to prior posts)

#1) Using the formula you have been given, please substitute the values given in the problem and solve algebraically.

#2) Using the formula you have been given, please substitute the values given in the problem and solve algebraically.

#3) Convert the mass of the boy provided in the problem to newtons using the method I provided for you in one of your prior posts.

#4) Since the force being overcome in this example is the force of gravity, your answer to #3 should be the answer for this problem also.

#5) Using the formula you have been given, please substitute the values of distance given in the problem and your force calculated for #3 and solve algebraically.
