I am doing some research on this machine my friend inheirited from her mothers dress shop. As far as we know its 35-40 years old. It is attached to an industrial looking table with a big motor that says its "cut-line" single phase capacitor motor Model ECA-4028.

The Machine is a SInger 246-20 Trimming and Overedging machine according to the manual. Does anyone know anything about this machine?

Is it in any of these?

AOL Search web offers for "singer sewing machines Model ECA-4028" (http://search.aol.com/aol/weboffers?invocationType=wo_more&query=singer+sewing+machines+Model+ECA-4028).

Yes, I have the manual. I want to know if this is an industrial machine and what the age, and the market value. These two machines were inhierited and not much use to us.
