Hey y'all. Okay so I posted a week ago about not having a period in 50 days. Still no period , it has been 54 days and no period. So I was in a lot of pain last night so I went to the ER and they said I am not pregnant but that I do have cyst on my ovaries (which I figured) but he could not tell me why I am not having a period and why my breast are really hard. He said unless my breast were falling off he was not going to even check them. Which made me mad because I don't know if there is something wrong or if its normal. They became hard 2 weeks ago. But my question is does any one have any suggestions as to what might possibly be wrong with me, since the doctors can't figure it out? I am very upset not knowing what is wrong with me and could I still be pregnant but have a negative blood test? They did a pelvic exam, cat scan of my stomach blood work and urine samples and yet they still do not know what is wrong. I just want to scream and cry at the same time. :(

I am a little confused as to why a doctor would not check your breasts and answer your questions professionally. I think before you do anything else, you need another doctor! Good luck...

I am confused also. He was a complete jerk about it.I go to another doctor Thursday but I am not sure if I am going because I don't have insurance and that would be another bill.I am so worried that there is something really wrong with me. I have been feeling like my period was going to start but nothing just a lot of discharge.

That is really odd that the doctor wouldn't check your breasts if you said there was a problem with them. That sound like the ER doctor's around where I live. I would definitely try to go see the other doctor. Yeah its another bill but you are almost two months late. Cysts can cause a lot of problems especially if they rupture. I have always had problems with them. The breast pain may be caused by the build up of hormones since you haven't had your cycle in a while. I am not a doctor in any way so that is just my opinion. Good luck and keep us informed.

There are places you can go according to your income so it doesn't cost much, please look into it and get back to the doctor, this is nothing to mess with!

I am going to keep the appointment because I desperately want to find out what is wrong with me. I am so worried it is all that I can think about and its driving me absolutely crazy. I doubt it could still be pregnancy but I have also heard that some pg only show up on an ultrasound. But I really doubt that it is pregnancy even though with my first daughter I was 6 mons before I found out. I have also heard that if could be PCOS. I have had cyst before and they have never stopped my period. The ER doctor didn't not seem concerned that my period is almost two months late. I am going to be so stressed until they figure out what is wrong.

Thank you. I will keep you posted on how everything goes tomorrow

I would really appreciate that. I wish the best for you and hope it isn't anything serious, we just have to think good thoughts and not let the worst thoughts get the bestof us sometimes!;)
I did though see later that you had gone to the emergency room and that has a lot to do with why he didn't do a full check up, they are not there to do that, they did though probably tell you to get to your won doctor as soon as you could right?

No he did pelvic exam , blood work and a cat scan of my stomach said it was a cyst , gave me 2 types of pain pills and sent me home. Didn't tell me or advise me to get to the doctor soon and would not even give me any suggestions as to why I might have a missed these 2 periods. He really seemed like he could not care less.I decided that I should go to the doctor since he was no help. I am trying my best not to worry.

Good girl, don't worry about something that you don't know all the facts, it could be something easy to take care of. Cysts are very common, so they know how to deal with them. Good job on the using your common sense! So glad you got an appointment! So rest easy and keep you mind on other things till you get the answers you need. Ask what you want and don't let a doctor intimidate you. Hugs!

Okay so as many doctors have told me that cyst can NOT stop your period , they CAN. My cyst are basically bogging down my ovaries so I am not having a period. My breast hardness is built up hormone. I had to start taking because so that I can have a period and we can start trying to have another baby. I am SO glad that it was not anything serious. I was so worried.Thank you all so much that helped me I appreciate it so much.

Hi Jessy,

Can I just ask where you were feeling the pain? I have been having problems with my periods and haven't had one since January which lasted for 3 days. Pregancy tests are coming up negative. I have been having bad pains above and to the left of my belly button.

I am wondering if it is the same thing that you had. It would be great to know.

Like her, you need to go and see a doctor if you are worried. There is no way we could tell you if youhave the same problem, you MUST see a doctor for a diagnosis. I hope you make an appointment as soon as possible. If this has been going on since January, you need to go! Good luck!

I have been very worried, so have been to the doctor. I am having blood done next week and also an ultrasound.

I have got really bad back ache too. At one point I thought it could have been an ectopic, but that was nearly 3 weeks ago, so it can't be that.

I would love to be pregnant and certainly feel like I could be. I feel fat, but it's only on my stomach. It's just such a waiting game.

Whatever it is, I want to get it sorted out asap.

Hey Rachel, you got to post your own post sweety, or no one else will see it besides me and the other posters on this thread. Start a new one, at the top you will see "ask a question about pregnancy or new motherhood in the top left corner... You can ask your questions and get qualified and thoughtful answers in your own thread. :)

It was in my lower stomach on the right side kind of like period craps but worse. But I would really suggest going to the doctor.Hope all is well.

Hi Jessy, Just had my scan and I too have a cyst. My cyst is bleeding too! This is being passed on to my doctor who I am seeing tomorrow. I hope it's not anything too bad. I haven't been given any pain killers for it, but it really hurts and I've got back ache too.

They have also said I have got polycystic ovaries. Not sure what my chances are of conceiving now.

Hope everything is going OK for you now and your cyst has cleared up.

Rachel, I am sorry that you have to go through all of this. Can you take any tylenol? Take good care of yourself, and if you want any more answers, you could start your own thread, like I said before, you would get many more replies on what you are going through, if you need help doing it, I can help!

Hi, thanks for that.

I have got my own thread under no period for two months which I started a while back. I just wanted to post on here so that Jessy could see it so she can see I have the problem too, but with the added problem of bleeding.

I have got awful chest pains at the moment, but I'm sure they will go soon.

I'm not sure if we have Tylenol, but I can take some paracetamol. Hopefully the doctor will be able to help me tomorrow. I just hope the internal bleeding will stop.

Hi.I am happy you found out what is wrong .I am sorry that you have that going on. I hope it works out for you. I can't believe they did not give you pain pills. I have read up on PCOS because I honestly thought I had that. But they say that it does make it harder to conceive but not impossible. They can offer you meds to help. Thank you for updating me. And I really hope it works out for you.Good luck! :)
