Hey guys, I'm all new to this. Just a small question, I Hope!
Can anyone tell me why there is no hot water to my shower. It is one fed by the hot & cold supply and it is one of three in the house. It is the least used and is often stood for a long period.
I have tried to use pressure to see if there is a small air block; to no avail.
Help please as I have visitors coming and as refreshing a cold shower is, I don't think it is appropriate this time of year!

Single handle... two or three handles?

Sounds like blockage/cartridge issues. Not too hard to fix most of the time.

Thanks for the response. It is a Triton LP with a water flow control with a temp control set inside it.

This is a complicated valve to work on.. but you can do it with help of the specification sheet and our help if you want.

Check page 18 at the PDF file... I think your check valve may be plugged and needs to be removed and cleaned.

If shutoffs are at the shower then shut them off and remove face plate of shower valve and then the cartridge assembly to access the check valves (if no shutoffs at valve, then may need to shut the main water supply off to the entire house) Then pull them out (with tool that came with valve or an allen wrench) and clean them and the sleeves surrounding check valve... let us know if you need more help... ok?

Thanks a lot massplumber, you have been a great help. I can't see any shutoffs so I will have to drain the water to below the showerlevel.
I'll let you know how I get on.
