This oil painting endorsed on the back as Avante Studios, Inc. is a mystery to me. From what I know, my parents acquired it in the 60s, and as you see, the subject matter definitely embodies the owl craze of the era. Can anyone help identify the studio, artist, or value? Any information is welcome and appreciated. Thank you!

Yes, I do know what you mean by the "owl" craze that happened during the late 1960's! My mom was crazy about and collected about anything that concerned owls. No guarantees here, but we will do some checking on the information that is available and get back to you. Thanks!

Last night, my mother confirmed they bought it at Davidson's Furniture in Little Rock, Arkansas shortly after my folks' wedding in the late 1960s. I just found a picture in our basement from Avante Studios, Inc. with the same artists signature. We have an orange tag on the back of ours that says it is hand painted and it's assigned a number written in pencil: 3817. "Hand Painted on Stretched Canvas by California Artists." The tag says Avante Studios is located at 330 South Del Mar Avenue, San Gabriel, CA and continues to say they have plants in San Gabriel, L.A. and Van Nuys. Our painting is of a covered bridge with some trees and it's a yellow/orange color from like the seventies.

My oil painting is signed ANDY, it is printed, the A has a swoop, almost like a J, on the left side of the A, can you tell me the artist full name?

I have a painting that I dug up that is yellow with a chinese symbol that, according to the letter on the back of it, means long Life. It has #3819 written on the back in red and the letter is dated sometime in 1974. I would like to know if anyone knows anything about it or its value.
