What happens to my stable or beta programe when it becomes final.

Please elaborate. What do you mean by "what happens?" ?

Hi, I`ve lived the last 30 years in germany and have problems sometimes with my english. I`ll try again. I`ve got Firefox as 2.0. and opera as 9.5 beta.ì`m new to computers and was wondering how my settings etc. will change when the final comes online.

Your settings are kept. The final overwrites the program files not your user settings.
