... well the book was about a mother abandoning her kids. The mother drives her 3 or 4 kids in the car with her to a grocery store, tells them she's going to get some food, then never returns back to the car. So the kids we're then left in the car for hours and end up having to find where and what happened to their mom. It's an old book, but I know there's also a movie out just like the novel as well. If anyone knows the name of the book, please please let me know.
