Sorry about the delay in responding.

The shower manufacturer is Hannsgrohe Trim,Solaris ThermoBalance I Shower Set Product# 06641000

My problem ocurrs when the volume control lever is turned to the maximum volume position and the temperature control is set to cold. When I turn the temperature control from cold to hot the volume of water is reduced by 75%.

Do you think this is a problem with the shower or hot water heater?

Go to your link. Click on rough. Scroll down, see service or isolation stops

Remove trim check setting of hot water stop valve.

I have done as suggested and the volume of hot water has not improved. I checked the high temperature limit stop and the service (Isolation) stop built into the valve.

When I turn the temperature control from cold to hot the volume of water is reduced by 75%. The drop in water volume starts immediately but is a consistent decreased volume when I go from luke warm, warm to hot water.

Any other suggestions?

Do you have an adequate hot water at other faucets? If so, remove the cartridge and flush the valve.
