I would like to use both browsers. However when I go to IE from Firefox I cannot load certain pages. I get the message on IE that says: "This page cannot be loaded". I set up to accept
Cookies, but it still happens. I am using WinXP as the operating system.
Would appreciate any suggestions...

Why aren't you using IE7? It's much more compatible and secure than IE6.

Vasily, thanks for your response, I have tried to download IE7, but... I get the message:
"setup could not verify integrityof the files needed for installation, make sure cryptograpic
services are running on this computer". Checked, they are running...
I have done this with no change, I cannot download any MS updates and I can't update or install the active x controls to do this and it won't allow update to IE7 as you suggest..
The Firefox browser works fine, but I do want the MS Updates, can you help...
I want to be able to shift from IE7 and Firefox...

Here's a Microsoft support page (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822798) that details a process to go through to address this problem. If you scroll down to Resolution, you'll see there are 11 Methods listed; they suggest starting with Method 1, and retesting (trying to reinstall) after applying each Method to see if the problem's fixed.
