So there's this guy at my school and he's been in band with me since 6th grade; come to find out yesterday that he likes me and is planing to ask me out :eek: I don't know what to do because he's always been like a brother I've never had but I don't want to hurt the guy... my friend said he's going to ask me out after the Broadway show in New York... help me!!

Well if you want to go, you say yes, if you are not interested in a boyfriend type relastionship you tell him.
And you also remember you can't believe 1/2 of the things you hear about people liking or not liking you either

IF he asks (a big IF)... "You want to go out with me? How sweet! I can't date you since we're such good friends and I don't want to ruin that. But thank you for asking, that is very sweet. But we can still go to _____ with the gang. Would that be OK?"

Yeah you don't have to be like no I hate you! Lol just be honest be like you know I like you as a friend or even if you chicken out be like I'm not ready to date.
