Hello everyone,

My Kenmore dryer 90 series won't heat up. I have changed the breaker, the heating coil, and all 4 of the thermostat parts in the dryer. It will still not heat up. I am at a lost. I don't know what else I can replace.

This is from other posts -- hope it helps

I removed the front cover and vacuumed ~1" of lint. Everything looks fine physically. I used a voltage probe to check electrical current when the drier was turned off and it seems electricity is running through most of the wiring (not the ground). When I turned the drier on and used the probe, it seems there is little or no electricity going through anything relating to the heating equipment... very odd... but then I'm no electrician and won't cliam to be. Any ideas?Find your wiring schematic to see how many thermal fuses and/or thermostats you have.

Check your thermal fuses if everything else runs OK
Usually the one on the exhaust duct

Remove one lead from them and check for resistance
Should be 0

If you don't find the reason the fuze blew It'll just blow it again, usually the vent in the wall is blocked and the heat backs up and the thermal fuze burns out
