I am supposed to use the double-angle identitie for this one and solve sin(x) to equal 2sin(x), I no the answer but it's the process I don't get.. can anyone help?

well the formulas for the double angles are here:
Double-Angle Formulas -- from Wolfram MathWorld (http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Double-AngleFormulas.html)
I'm not entirely sure what you have to solve..
sin x = 2sin x?

well I have to work one side till it looks like the other using the double angle identities that you have from that site. And yes that equation is what it looks like

OH. Well...
sin x = 2 sin x
doesn't make sense. As they're not equal. At all.
unless they both equal 0.

actually wait... its sin2x=2sinx and solve using double angle identities.. sorry I looked at it wrong.. does that work>?

And just keep solving one side till it looks like the other

are you sure that's the problem..
as sin (2x) = 2 sin (x) cos (x)
