I changed out my carb and now my truck will turn over but won't start.
I replaced the coil and still when I remove coil wire from the dist cap there is no spark. What would be my next step?

First off, was it running when you changed your carb?
If it was, why did you change the carb?
Now, if you know that it is a "no spark" problem and not a "no fuel" problem then you need to begin checking the ignition components.
Do you have a multimeter?

When I got this truck, I was told the carb needed to be rebuilt, so I removed the carb and had a professional rebuild it. The wiring on this truck is in bad shape in some areas. My problem is I do not have the knowledge to know which wires are the ignition wires and how to follow the wires to the solenoid switch to the coil, the starter etc... I can't tell the wires apart.
No I don't have a multimeter, I can get one though!
Any help would be appreciated:confused:

Take the rotor out of the distributor and check to see if it is burnt it could be that simple
