Hi,
My name is Dave. I am a licsensed plumber, but I know nothing about appliances. My dryer will not heat up when it is running. I am sure it is probably the flame sensor, but I do not know how to get at it. I have a whirlpool model LGR4634JQ2. I took the back off and cleaned the safety sensors that I could get at. I just need to know how to get to where the gas valve is and the flame sensor location. Can anyone please help me.
Respectfully,
Dave

Your answer helped me tremendously. I thank you very much. At least I know how to take them apart now. It still won't get hot, though. I don't know if it is the igniter or the flame sensor.
