My Television a 4 year old 32" widescreen Cathode Ray Tube Panasonic does not provide clearly visible text at the edges of the screen. The text in the centre of the screen is fine but at the edge it is impossible to read so when watching football we cannot see the Team abbreviation in the top left. Also the Electronic Programming guide is difficult to read at the edges.
This occurs in all programme material and all AV sources, Sky Satellite, Astra, Freeview and terestrial.
The problem has crept up gradually in the last year or so.
Sometimes the text will pulse into a readable state and then relax back to fuzzy.

Can this be adjusted or repaired
All opinions and suggestions will be most gratefully received

This could be due to dry joints on the circuit board. Cathode Ray sets develop a fair amount of heat, so some joints crack with time. Remember TVS still carry charge inside even when switched off. This is a job an engineer.
