We live in fl and my fience has been separated for a year and has not been with his wife for about 4years all together.we are on a very tite budget ant he want to get a devorce.can he put an add the paper and get it done that way?they have no kids or any thing togeather.she moved out of stat a year ago and they have no way of contact.2 years ago they went to devorce court on TV... but I guess thets just for show?any advice.

Are they still married if so can't he find out where she is and sent her the papers for a divorce

No, you can not just put an add the paper and be divorced. You put an add the paper if you can not find them, as part of the search you have to do, to find them. But you have to make a motion or file with the court for the divorce. If you can find the other person, you have them sign the divorce papers and then sumitt them to the court. The judge signs them, if you can not find them, you have several search requirements, andpart of it is posting in the legal section of the paper. But doing it that away costs a lot more and several trips to court.

OK,thanks
