How do I know how much my paper bonds have matured I would like to keep and eye on them. If they are maturing nicely I might get some more any ideas?

A financial planner would take care of that for you.

Do I have to have a financial planner cause I bought the thing online and thought there would be a calculator somewhere that would tell me how much it is worth now.

There is a calculator on line for determining the value of savings bonds:
Individual - Savings Bond Calculator (http://www.treasurydirect.gov/indiv/tools/tools_savingsbondcalc.htm)

Here's a general purpose calculator the value of other types of bonds:
Bond Calculator (P. Peterson, FSU) (http://www.calculator.com/calcs/bondcalc.html)

To make it easier for you to track - you can put put these bonds into a brokerage account, and then your broker should report the market value of the bonds in their monthly statements. I've done this with several municipal bonds and it eliminates the guess work.
