I am trying to put up a harbor breeze ceiling fan and also bought a remote for this and can't find a place to put the electrical part for the remote. Any suggestions

You would probably install it in the ceiling canopy (http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml99/99145b.gif) that attaches to the ceiling (i.e. where the downrod hooks into. The wires from the fan come up the downrod and through a little ball. Connect your remote control receiver to these wires and also to the power wires coming from the ceiling.

Turn the electricity off first!
