hi i'm new :D

I'm really down at the moment though :(
Well a few days ago I got asked out by this guy I pratically just met, he lives near me about a 5-10 minute drive to his.
I said yes, because I liked him LOADS, he had such a great personality and we chatted a whole lot! (This was on MSN and wasn't really 'internet dating.') It was amazing while it lasted, I really got too know him.
He kept saying he loved me and it made me feel great, better than ever!
We texted, spoke on the phone, got to know each other well.
Then he said we'd never really get to meet if we were going out.. I replied with; We could, but not yet.
Then today he wasn't himself, well as much as he was the past few days. He said 'He wanted to date me but couldn't cause we'd never meet.'
Now, I'm confused, because we were actually going out, but this kinda' seems like he's saying we weren't!
I'm really down at the moment and even though I just met him I am SO down. :(

Please could anyone reply with what I should say to him, I don't know at all and I don't want to mess us up for good?
Thanks.

Dropping that L-word within a few days is a huge red flag to me... not to mention... even before you guys meet.

Think this kid's not sure of what he wants... either that or he's just losing interest in you now that he "has" you. Either way, if he's not being himself, don't chase him. Let him go after you.

It just sounds like he really wants to meet you and talking about dating he seems really into you fast. But know one knows what kind of connection you two really had but you. If you are interested and go and meet him. Make sure to tell more then one person where you are going, just so someone knows. And meet him in a public place for coffee or whatever. I think by the last text message he doesn't think you two will ever meet. I wouldn't say he has blowen you off. But really seems like you blew him off by saying not right now. So keep chatting and if you want to meet don't forget what I said about letting someone know where you two are going! Be Careful and Good Luck.

How come you guys wouldn't ever meet? Doesn't he just live 5-10 minutes away from you?

I would say he is backing off because you don't want to meet him.
Do you ever go anywhere with a group of friends?
If so why don't you tell him some time soon
Me and my friends are going to go to the mall this sat at 11 you want to meet us there?

Strange people you meet online should stay online. It's hard enough to find people to date but the internet is tempting for predators to frequent. I'd just chalk it up to a fun conversation and leave it at that. He's probably having fun as he's probably married and this is his way to have fun at your expense. I hope you didn't give out too much personal info to this person. It could come back to haunt you or worse.

Oohh you met this guy over the internet?? I thought u met him from a friend or something.. or just a new neighbour that moved in..
If u meet up with him, u should DEFINITELY go with someone else.. just in case something happens..
