My wife inherited 1/2 ownership in a plot of land along with her brother and sister, as stated in her fathers Will .(her aunt owns the other half). Her sister whom is the trustee of the estate has yet to change the title after a year, how does one go about this title change, and is there a time limit for the change. (my wife and her sister are not on speaking terms)

You can get a probate attorney to try and force the distribution of the estate. But what's the rush? Are they trying to sell it?

Has the estate been settled by the Courts? If so, this would be part of wrapping things up.
