I have NTFS on C Drive having xp operating system. My computer is not starting this morning. I Can't format it because I have important files on its desktop. So I deattached the hard disk and attached it to another computer (as primary slave) having FAT32. When I try to open the user folder on the slave hard disk having NTFS file system. It shows the message that. "Access is denied."
Now how can I access data from my old computer's hard disk having NTFS File system.
Waiting for kind reply.
Thanks

A FAT file system CANNOT access an NTFS one.
Also you are likely come up against the NTFS permissions of the user data folder.

You will need to convert FAT to NTFS and then take ownership of the user data.
