I don't know what change I made today on my computer,
But I did something that has caused the number of emails I have to be listed above my user name on the log on screen for windows xp.
Anyone know what I did to cause this so I can change it back?
Thanks

Here is the easiest way if you have Tweak UI
1) Start Tweak UI
2) Click the "Logon" link and expand it.
3) Underneath "Logon", click "Unread Mail".
4) Uncheck "Show unread mail on Welcome screen".
5) If desired, select "Apply setting to all users".
6) Click "OK" to close Tweak UI.
If TweakUI is not on your PC you can download it at microsoft.com
All other "fixes" require editing the Registry.

Thank you for your response,
I'll go look to see if I have that on my computer.
I've been looking around and wonder if it has something to do with my net passport which is my email address.
If it is that I cannot figure out how to turn it off or how to stop my user account from using it automatically - which it says it is doing.
**edit, I have figured out what's causing the problem and started a different post for it.
