Hello so this is going to be kind of long.

My girlfriend of 2 years broke up with me last week cause she need space. We lived together, so I moved out. Last week we had very little conversation and then on Saturday she wanted to hang out that night so I picked her up from work and we went out to eat and then afterwards she was like would it be weird if you stayed over and I was like not if you want me to and said she did so I did we slept together but nothing happened. The next day we went out to breakfast and it was nice then I finished moving out while she was at work. She came home right as I was leaving and we both just started crying and it was just sad and then we were both like I love you and everything and then I went home and she went to her parents house. That night she texted me goodnight matty, and I texted her goodnight I told her to call me tomorrow and she called tonight and we talked and it was good. I asked I maybe sometime this week I could stay over and she was like yeah that would be nice. My question is I don't want to become just friends at all does this sound like that is where it is going? Should I igonore her for a bit? She said that at some point she sees us gettiing back together, I'm just confused anything would help, it seemed like last week when we weren't talking much she wanted me more so maybe I shouldn't let us get to comfterable I need some advice!

Thanks

Relationship's over... it seems like she's just trying to gradually get you out of her life. She's trying to move on, but keeping you on a leash for her emotional needs.

You're absolutely right in that when you guys didn't talk... she wanted you more because she realized what she's lost. Now that she's seeing you/talking to you, the breakup'll be a lot easier for her.

Right now, you got to focus on you getting over her and moving on, so you got to cut the contact. Start moving on with your life.

Your letting her "have her cake and eat it too". Cut her off. She has no reason to be with you if your hanging around for her whenever she wants. More importantly you can't heal if you let yourself get USED like this. Cut off all contact.

I don't think you need to cut her off, but you absolutely should be getting on with your life. You're a healthy available man and you cry, so you're a catch to any sensible woman.

It sounds like had a mature breakup. Friendship is only out of the question if you're still goggling after her. If you're mature enough to get back out there and find those "rarin' to go" gals, many of which will be a GREAT match for you, then there's no reason to toss your friendship, too.

BUT (... the big BUT), if SHE can't do it, you have to break it off. Do not let this ex-GF take over your private life. She isn't the one who decides when you're in a relationship or not, you are. Decide. IF she gets weird, pressures you, say goodbye.

... a crying guy = catch for women?

You may be way to available and seeing thing that are not true, so back off and stop the sleeping over and let her do as she wishes, and you get your own life, without her. Its about you, and not what she gives you, and remember, she dumped you so why is what she wants so all fired important? Because you think she will change her mind and take you back, that's why. Ain't going to happen. Your there until something better comes along.

Probably not for his ex... but I think most mature women can respect a guy who is okay with crying. Who, you know, is in touch with their feelings and can express them.

Really? I took a poll. I asked some of my female friends...

There are girls who find a guy that can cry at a wedding sweet...

Then there are also girls who say that if they ever found their guy crying over anything less than a death of a close friend or family... that they'd be worried.

Whatever floats whoever's boat I guess.

But did you tell them to imagine that they in a relationship with the guy. That's kind of what I meant, I wouldn't cry in front of strange girls... that would get me nowhere. Haha

Haha.

Like that scene from the wedding crashers? Owen wilson puts tear drops in his eyes at the wedding and cries... gets the attention of a girl... pshhh
