I speak from experience, not as a medical authority, but here goes. My wife started to develop a trigger finger. There was a raised line across her hand, and she often had to use her other hand to straighten the finger out. She went to a dr. who injected a kind of lubricant between her fingers,(painful!) but it did not help any. Then she started taking glucosamine (1000 mg. x 2 daily), and the finger gradually came back to normal. Don't know if it would work for evryone, but it is not expensive to try. Hope you find relief.
