Hi I have 2 female cats mom and daughter, both have been fine together until recently. The mom (simone) got out the other night, and we could not find her. She made her way into the garage I had left open for her in case she would return, I found her wounded. She is getting better everyday, but now sascha is mean to her, sniffing hard and growling, even attacking her. What is the deal? Please help me!

Even though you are not really suppose to bath a cat try doing that.
To cut down the risk of getting scratched bath her gently and slowly-not all at once, hold her paws.
She might have a scent of another animal (like the one she got in the fight with) on her and causing Sasha to lose it.
After she is dry sprinkle her with a little baby powder

I would keep them separated until the wound heals completely.. The daughetr is probably trying to up her rank. I have known of cats attacking a cat that has fallen ill with kidney problems etc... they sense it is the time for them to move up and they go for it. I think this is more likely to happen with cats of the same sex.
