   I have an old Snapper push mower that I bought last summer used, it was running fine then, but now it won't start. I cleaned the air filter, secured the spark plug, but no fire at all. Any suggestions? Thanks Dan:confused:

You Should Check The Coil If You Are Not Getting Spark Work Your Way Back You Should Also Change Your Spark Plug After It Has Been Setting For A While

Check the wire leading from the coil to the spark plug, and also the kill wire. If it still does not fire with the kill wire disconnected then the coil is probably gone bad.
***Note*** if it has the old points and condenser magneto, try to convert it to a solid state ignition armature magneto.

Did gas sit in carb over the winter?
By "no fire", I am assuming that you mean that there is no combustion, not that there is no spark.
