Ok... On December 21, I hooked up with my boyfriend. No sex, but fooloing around. I got a completely regular period on the 5th of January. Through out January I had lower pain in my left ovaries, or so I thought. I was nervous I was pregnant so I took a HPT and it came out to be negative. Then I went to a regular doctor to see if everything with my Ovaries was health and everything. She did a pap smear, a urine test, and felt my ovaries. She said everything felt and looked normal. My pap smear was also normal. Then I had a regular period in February, it began on the second. Last month I had little ovulation pain, and the regular mucusy, string, clear discharge. However, my breasts were tender and felt as if they were growing. Again I got a little concerned about pregnancy, and I took another HPT, which was negative. Also, I went to the clinic and they gave me a pregnancy test, which was negative. The strange thing is this month I had the regular symptoms of my period. But only a dark brown, with little or no red at times, it looks like diccharge, period came. Could I be pregnant? I have not had any interaction like that again with my boyfriend since.

So basically, one night of messing around, but not intercourse, or penetration. ONe regular period, then really bad left ovary pain (that is what I think it was), another regular period, and a normal month and now just brown weird period. Two HPT and one done by the clinic. Could I be pregnant?

Not likely that you are pregnant. Periods can be off for a number of reasons and this may be just be the case in your situation. If you want to be sure, for the peace of mind, ask your doctor about having a blood test done. For even more accuarcy, ask for a quantitative one which would give you an actual amount of the "pregnancy hormone", HCG... instead of a qualitative one which would just give you a positive or negative result.

I used to have the same problems for a while, I had such high levels of HCG that my doctor and I thought I was pregnant. Every test came back negative but still had the symptoms of pregnancy such as, morning sickness, pain, tired, just like flue like symptoms. So finally we did a hormone test ( all hormones a women has were test), well sure enough it came out my hormone levels were so high no wounder I had problems. I think you need to go back to your doctor and get tested.
