My daughter is 6 months old, and This is her daily routine am I feeding her enough?

6:00am - Wakes up, has 6-8oz Bottle.

8:00am - Has cereal and sometimes a bottle.

8:30am - Takes a nap.

12:00pm - Has puréed food and a bottle.

12:30pm - Takes a nap.

4:00pm - Has cereal and a bottle.

6pm/7pm - Has a bottle and then bed! (sleeps from 6/7 pm-5/6am)

If she is hungry in between feeding I give a sippy cup with water in it.

Assuming she is drinking the bottle completely she is getting 24-32 ounces of formula a day. The purée food and cereal is really just to get used to it at this point as you will not be giving it to her in amounts great enough to be a nutritional supplement. I think my son drank 32-40 ounces at that age, but he was a big boy. If he was hungry, we fed him. She will let you know if she is hungry. For example, if during those times when you give her water in a sippy cup and it just isn't cutting it, she is probably telling you that she needs something more. Our Ped. Did say not to give them too much water at this age. As long as she is gaini weight and having enough wet and poopy diapers, you are fine.

Sometimes she drinks a whole bottle after but then sometimes she doesn't. She isn't a chubby baby but she was only 4lbs when she was born so she had a lot of catching up to do. The last time I saw our Ped she said that Lilian is growing taller faster than her weight gain is. BUt she didn't have any concerns.

If your Pediatrician isn't worried then you shouldn't be. If your daughter wasn't thriving your doctor would have been making suggestions. If your little one is happy and content then she's not hungry.
